GAH-LEE!!!!
I'm back. Yes, again so soon.
And I'm a little disappointed to be back blogging this quickly. (no offense to my few sweet readers)

See what had happened was.....
The curtains that are in the den upstairs are up and hanging because I have no patience. I meant, by golly, I was going to teach myself sometime last week how to use the boyfriends electric screwdriver. Well, at least that is what I think I was using. No really, I'm almost positive it was. Anyway, the bad boys were up and looking good.

David gets home...
 picks up the screwdriver (I suppose) and does the same thing I was doing....
 besides....
 he made it look way easier than I did.
I caught him kind of smile after putting down the "tool" and walking away.

Wellll, I had to ask why the smile and here is his response.
"Baby, you did good."
I knew that was said in a way similiar to one if I'd burnt supper and he told me it was good knowing it wasn't even close to okay. So I said...
"No, really... what did I do wrong?"
David said:
"Nothing really,precious. I was just going to try screwing them in all the way but realized you stripped the screws"

 Woo-hoo! So we have curtains that are hanging thanks to the help of naked screws!! Awesome.


When I just went downstairs to hang more curtains in a bedroom I had a flashback. How was I supposed to keep these screws dressed? I stomped around, picked up the scary electric tool, and talked myself into marching back up the stairs walking away from a project that I could totally mess up.... again.

Oh and for the ones who have never used one of those things and think I'm an idiot....please don't. Try using one first. I thought I did great until I later found out that the curtain rod is like... umm lets see, stuck in the wall! Thanks naked screws. (which, by the way is not where I even want it placed and I didn't notice that until AFTER staring at it for a week)

That is, if you will help my down the "fireman" stairs after a few adult bevs to prevent another spill. (the adult bevs had nothing to do with it that time... sneaking away from Ziggy was the cause. Just saying....I can see it happening and the drinky-poo's taking full credit for it)

the borrowed cord has allowed me to have internet access.

whew, glad it wasn't the computer.

i guess it's time to shop for a new cord, huh?

after i hang one window treatment (finally got another rod) and attempt to take the hem or seams and tabs off/out of another set of panels(i know, i know you can totally correct any wrong choice of words i used in the sewing topic) i will be back to give my stalkers something to read.

now aren't you little nuggets happy about that? surely so!

My laptop is EXTREMELY slow. Going from one page to the next takes entirely too long for my patience. And David's laptop cord that is used to give the
"go-go juice" is somewhat coming apart... and I'm afraid it isn't going to hang on much longer. That means- I've been without computer access, didn't have class today, AND it's raining. WHAT A BUMMER, MAN!! I'm borrowing a laptop cord and taking it back to Gantt in hopes that it will fix the problem with David's so I can write a bloggity blog blog or two for you. You my friends, should hang on loosely and don't let go.

I got my eyebrows waxed in class today and, unlike my last haircut performed by a student, my eyebrows  look great. Thank goodness. You would think I'd refuse for anyone to do any services on me after that one particular cut. I guess you could consider me pretty brave!

Now if only the pedi I just did at home could count as a service for me....

My Peter Pan just got home from work and we he is going to play golf.... And I am going along for the ride to enjoy this beautiful afternoon. Poor pooch doesn't understand why she can't join us. She's in pout pout pout mode right now. God love her. I have been without the internet ALL day long. David gets home and fixes it within 2 minutes. It's a shame because I had lots of things to do online. Maybe when we return from the golf course. Oh I get by with the help of my friends....
