today has been a friday full of {mcm} orders. the sister and i have been having a blast.... doing something we both love. it has actually been somewhat overwhelming to see how quickly this little love of ours has jumped into full force. challenge us. that is what keeps us motivated. and for those of you who have placed orders, thanks. really... a huge thanks. we both feel extremely blessed to have each other and not only that but the opportunity to work with each other on fun little projects that are requested by others. happy friday, party people!

So me and the sister may or may not have called 911 bright and early this morning. {for the record it was still dark outside} BUT Listen.... this crazy car followed us from the early morning coffee run... played a duck duck goose like chase in our parents neighborhood where we fake pulled in and drove around. {oh-with zero miles to empty so we sure weren't going far} STOP... listen.... We were forced to pass this mystery car on a road in the neighborhood and as we did he opened and closed his door very quickly. NUTS! You are seriously dealing with two extremely scardy cats. Extremely. Well, the cops were right on in. The two cops pulled into my parents driveway (the address I gave the lady who answered the emergency call) and we jump out (all shook up) and run in the direction of the men in uniforms. In a smirky little voice copper cop number one says "are yall chasing our paper boy around?"  GOOD MORNING TROY ALABAMA!!!! Thank you TPD for totally understanding. And....being so quick to the rescue and not locking us up!

Conversation between me and the sister on the way home from a last minute shopping trip last night:

me: oh gosh... did you see that deer on the side of the road?
the sister: YES! it was huge. i think it was preggers. had to of been.
me: marley, it had tons of antlers.
the sister: so... i still think it's preggers.
me: umm, no. the antlers means it is a buck which is a male. sorry.
the sister: oooh, ok. thats right. the girl deer have spots.
me: umm, no. that's baby deer.
the sister: oh, ok, my bad. i have this all wrong.

buckle up and face that stormy weather

lets mean mug michael vick.

not because of who he plays for.

maybe because he ran a dog fighting ring. 

umm hello, he did extremely terrible things to pit bulls. 

this is not something i take lightly.... at ALL.

lets also pop the animal planet square in the face for thinking it is okay to air the puppy bowl at the same time as the super bowl. 

whaaaaa??? why!!!!! i have serious beef with you about this, animal planet.

you know, football lovers have things for puppies too.

thank-you world for tivo. 

because i want to watch both.
but for real animal planet, that isn't the smartest advertising stunt as the rates for the super bowl (commercials) are sky high. come on. get with the program.

I watched the movie Valentines Day last night....

and wondered today if that was a cheesy or ironic move.... 

i think i will go with cheesy since i wasn't the one choosing. :)

but oh ps....
that movie has a crazy ton of good actors in it.

what's (coming) up?

Well, lets see.... 

there's lots coming up for me. 

i have a guitar lesson wednesday night. wish me luck. and send me patience. 
i have a haircut to give this week.
{mcm} has lots of orders to fill. hooray-for this is a good thing.
 i have a graphic design challenge sent my way (tonight) that i am extremely excited about.
i am continuing my work as the outreach art director for the childrens rehab and starting back this month with the schedule.
i have a biloxi trip planned.
there are two willow house parties booked in the next couple weeks.
as of last night i have a horse riding adventure in store.
this is the month to meet jack. yaaaaaaaaaay! need i say more. (!!!!!!!!!!!)
and last but CERTAINLY not least.....

THIS IS ZIGGY'S BIRTHDAY MONTH!!!!
so duh.... i have a pooch party to plan.
oh yea! this is going to be a slam.jam.packed.wa-bam month.

The Power of Primping.

Never [ever] underestimate the power of primping. I am not here to say I have primped my way to fabulous (by no means is that the case) Though, I have taken a little more time out of my morning for self mani's and pedi's... a face mask..... and extra TLC to the hair. {shh.... dont remind me of the wasted time on the locks due to the weather} 

I feel like I just welcomed this month the right way. 
This month is for doing the little things that result in a big impact.

Happy February.

this month has a holiday that is loved by some and hated by some. 

i personally like the fact that i can spread pinks and reds all over the house for a short month decor spruce up.... but the candy and chocolates i could do without. well.... i need the conversation hearts. you can keep the chocolate. i can do without the cheesy flirty shirts but really am still dreaming about the sweatshirt i blogged about a few days ago. i could do without the the dozen roses but would take your hand for a walk to pick wildflowers.... i don't mind a sappy love poem but would much rather it be in a song. 

my wish this month is to find love in each day.... the entire day. 

i will start the month off with a new book i just got as a gift that i am reading.  {and love}
