one if the biggest compliments you can give someones house (to me) is that it feels homey. 

granted.... i like modern. a whole bunch. 

but i also like warm and cozy. 

i have a friend who hates lamps. always has. i love lamps. well today, i witnessed her buy a lamp in 

tj maxx. must have been my presence there because i swear i never saw this day coming.

made me happy. and maybe giggle a little.
