Happy week-end! Happy March! And happy I am that summer is just around the corner!! I've got another baby shower, a birthday party and an engagement party all tomorrow night. It is so unfortunate that I can't juggle. Because if I could I would make all of the parties happen! Although, I am going to do my very best to attend two of the three! Have a super duper weekend! I'm heading to Troy .... NOW.... to give someone a haircut!

and for sweet summertime to hurry on up! I'm waiting. And did I mention I have no patience. Well, I take that back. I have very little patience. Especially when we are talking about waiting on my favorite time of the year to get here!

Speaking of waiting.... a best friend of mine is patiently awaiting the arrival of her first little one. Emme could come any day now. Her due date is March 29th. I'm guessing she is going to make her debut on the 14th.... just saying. =) I know Chelsea is going to be a great mommy!

Ziggy surprised me with an entire container of silver glitter today. I approached my car after class and I saw her nose glistening. I thought maybe she destroyed a cd that wasn't her type music and that was the cause of the sparkles. Oh no... I got the privilege of having a glitter glam in my car. Ziggy is covered. I'm covered. And Reba will forever be covered. I think I might have to take Reba to Espree car wash in Troy and cry for help! It's pretty intense. I hope everyone else has a day full of sparkles like mine!

Funday Sunday was one of those days. With much anticipation on being productive outside and enjoying the wonderful-makes-you-wanna-scream-for-summer weather..... things got a little flip-floppy. I started my morning with reading some of the book "Same Kind Of Different As Me" out in the sun. Staring at my car, I couldn't put off cleaning out Reba any longer. I was hoping to find my parents cordless phone. Yes, the one I tried using as a cell phone a couple months ago by driving until the connection, of course, would no longer reach. Hey, you never know until you try it. With a dead cell and a cutie to talk to why not give it a shot! No luck on finding it. I have NO idea where that crazy "house" turned to car phone could have vanished off to. Nutso. Anyway, back to our Sunday..... David washed his truck while I am finding things I forgot I ever even owned in the back of my car. Talk about an inexpensive shopping spree? Well, Ziggy is obsessed with her mother (sure don't blame her there) and she is afraid of getting left so she sits in my car patiently waiting to ride.... point being my doors are all open for a good two hours with lights on (didn't realize this at the time) ... David gets stuck thanks to the leaves that caused no traction and the water from the car wash! Cool, we thought that was all okay. That is, until we loaded up in Reba thinking we were going into town for several different things. NOT. My battery is dead and David's "stuck truck" sure was no help in jumping it off. Thank goodness for friends, we survived and were not stranded forever. Poor Ziggy though, she waited for a ride until after dark. Better luck next time on the mile long shopping list we made....

Friday night we had a bonfire....it all started with a "football season" like adult beverage and a few sticks to get things going. The night turned into morning before we knew it. Here in L.A. (lower Alabama, that is) we enjoy our several hours of FLAME... unlike those Hollywood homies... they search their whole life for 5 minutes of fame. It seems my lifestyle might be a bit more simple than the Cali kids....

We were successful on this hunt!

Ziggy asked if we could do this every night that wasn't a school night... yes, she attends cosmetology school with me. (literally... she is there every day I am)

Who would have thought that the two of us would have ended up living together in college, becoming best friends and appreciating our unique friendship? I would have! I mean come on, just look at us! Bangs, socks and all! We are having Chelsea a baby shower this afternoon. I've got to find something to wear.... and I promise to look into putting together a more appropriate outfit than this one!
